Executive Assistant to the Headteacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized, efficient, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Headteacher at a prestigious independent school. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, manage the Head's schedule, and be the main point of contact for staff, pupils, and visitors. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the school by managing correspondence, organizing meetings, and handling confidential matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Headteacher’s diary and communications, ensuring priorities are handled promptly and professionally.
Prepare daily files for meetings and manage the administration of school-wide celebrations and events.
Provide HR support, including managing recruitment processes and maintaining records.
Organize travel and expenses for the Headteacher, and assist with report preparation.
Take minutes at senior leadership meetings and support strategic projects.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
A Levels (or equivalent) and strong administrative experience (minimum two years).
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Strong ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
