This is how a recruitment agency should be and it's all thanks to Ellie Minns. I was contacted by Ellie a few months ago about two roles at the same organisation. She took the time to understand my skillset and then with her expertise, recommended which role she'd want to put me forward for. She kept me updated every few days via email, text message and phone on where she was with the recruiter and always kept to her word when she said she'd update me at a particular time, even if there wasn't much to update on. This was literally the only time I've never felt like I'm having to constantly chase for updates. She also provided feedback on the recruiter and the nuances that would support the interview process. She also made specific time to reflect on her thoughts on how the interview might go and what I should focus on. We also caught up after the interview which was lovely to decompress and reflect on the interview. Post interview Ellie kept me informed on the outcome and the cause of any delays. I felt informed throughout and it felt effortless. I feel this approach is unfortunately lacking in the large majority of agencies I've gone through but it's good to see empathetic, supportive and transparent professionalism from Burman via Ellie. I can't recommend their recruitment services enough for those looking for contract, FTC or perm roles in higher education. Thank you
