I focus on placing Higher Education academic data specialists, across the registry area. My talent pool is a mix of academic product experts and HE/project data experts, allowing me to supply the most relevant candidate possible. I work within Academic Services (HESA, Data Futures, IRL, UKVI & HESES), Data Analytics, Casework & Appeals, BI, MIS, Data & Funding, Planning, Systems Development and Integration & Data Migration.

My approach is to follow market trends and then work with every candidate within that area, such as Data Futures, to personalise my outreach. When I reach out to candidates, take the time to personalise my messages. Show them that I’m interested in them specifically, and that I've done research on their skills and experience before all calls.

When James calls or emails you with an opportunity you know it's not because its a mailshot exercise to everyone on the books but that he has taken the time and care to understand your skills and experience and ensure that you will be a great match for the client. It's also clear that he always takes a detailed brief from the client so as a consultant you know exactly what to expect when having that all important conversation. And the comms during any process I've ever been involved in are second to none!
