Our Higher Education client are looking for a Student Casework Manager to lead and manage a high quality, professional and efficient Student Casework service, covering Student Complaints, Academic Appeals, Academic Misconduct, Fitness to Study, Admissions Appeals and Complaints, and Tier 4 Appeals and Complaints.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and line management for the Student Casework Team,
ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and that staff are enabled and empowered to pro-actively seek continuous improvement

• Lead and deliver high quality student casework services across the University.

• Ensure effective administration of student complaints, academic appeals,
academic misconduct, and fitness to study cases, admissions appeals and
complaints and Tier 4 appeals and complaints.

• Undertake investigation of casework, liaising with the Academic Registrar and / or Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) over outcomes.

Essential Criteria

• First degree or relevant equivalent experience.

• Relevant Postgraduate or professional qualification or equivalent experience.

• Experience of leading and managing staff and University-wide services.

• Significant experience of working with complex student case work and comprehensive knowledge of good practice within the sector.
