About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Projects & Policy Officer to join a large Higher Education institution, supporting a range of strategic people initiatives.

Working closely with senior HR leaders, you'll play a key role in delivering HR projects, supporting organisational change programmes, developing HR policies and ensuring employment practices remain aligned with legislation and sector best practice.

Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of HR projects and organisational change initiatives.
Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation.
Coordinate consultation activities and work collaboratively with HR colleagues, senior stakeholders and Trade Unions.
Produce project plans, reports, communications and governance documentation.
Support the implementation of new HR policies through guidance, toolkits, training and stakeholder engagement.
Analyse HR data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Experience working within an HR environment with exposure to HR policy development or implementation.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
A sound understanding of UK employment legislation.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear policies, reports and guidance.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience supporting organisational change or HR projects.
Desirable
Experience within Higher Education or the wider public sector.
Experience working in a unionised environment.
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards).
Experience delivering briefings or training sessions.
